CONTROLLING ACNE

A daily system of antibacterial and exfoliating home care is paramount to the control of acne.  True control means that no physical sign of the condition shows in its active stage.  Since acne is a treatable disease with no real cure, the acne sufferer will most likely be tied to a home care regimen for life, whether they continue clinical treatments on a regular basis.  For acne patients to achieve total clearing of active acne and abruptly discontinue home treatment, that would amount to skin care suicide.  Retention hyperkeratosis (process of dead skin cells building up and sticking together in the pore) is common with people with acne.  If the acne prone patient does not adhere to a day-to-day system and make permanent lifestyle changes (less stress, enough sleep and dietary changes), visible signs will begin to reappear almost immediately.
